What topics are covered in an Emergency First Aid at Work course?

This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:

• Adult resuscitation (CPR)*
• Burns and scalds
• Choking adult
• Communication and casualty care
• Defibrillator prompts and how to respond (theory based)
• Defibrillator pad placement (theory based)
• Minor and severe bleeding
• Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
• Seizures
• Shock
• Unresponsive adult

Course Cost

The cost of the course is £149 and you have the option of paying the course cost over 3 months interest via PayPal Later.

The course will take place on Saturday 6th April 2024 and the time will be 9am – 4:30pm.

Assessment and certification

Continuous observation by the trainer and written assessments.
